Air Tables & Chambers: 3x4 Wicking table

Passive System:  Capillary action transfers the nutrient solution from the reservoir to the growing medium.  Wick systems have no moving parts, seldom does anything break down or malfunction.  Because the nutrient solution only moves one way, up and out of the reservoir into the growing medium your ph and food strengths will not fluctuate.  No nutrient solution is drained off; it is all absorbed by the plants, this means you never have to change your nutrient solution only add your desired amount. 

Your plants will feed on demand, never allowing over or under feeding.

The trays were not drilled with drain holes on purpose, so that you can decide if and where you want them.  Some people with only one or two prefer to wet vacuum them out when they want to drain the nutrient solution or to leach.
 Insturctions

1)      Mix up your nutrients (you will be using the Supernatural Brand Terra Foods).

2)      Place the wicking cloths (white felt strips) down through the slits on black plastic piece (rough side up), so that the ends will hang in the reservoir.

3)      Place the black plastic on top of reservoir.

4)      Place the black felt material on top of that, fuzzy side up.

5)      Now place your Terra Pots onto the material.  They have the wicking material in the bottom of them, so no need to poke holes.

6)      Top water your plants for the first time, making sure the water goes all the way through the Terra Pots.  This ensures the bags are damp enough to initiate the capillary action. Let the Terra Pots drain for a couple of minutes, then top up the reservoir with the nutrient solution

7)      Check your reservoir periodically.  Add desired nutrients into reservoir as needcd, or drain nutrient solution (this solution can be saved and put back into reservoir after leaching program is finished) in order to perform leaching of growing medium.
